Colne Church 4–5.30 pm on the first Sunday of the month.

Messy Church at St Helen’s Colne has got off to a brilliant start and it has been lovely to see so many people having fun in church! In September we learned about Jesus the vine and even had fun crushing grapes to make juice. The second session was themed around Jesus the shepherd. There were plenty of ways to get messy, including paint, icing and glue. We discovered that it is quite hard work being a shepherd. Here two of the children are trying to herd paint-covered marbles by blowing through a straw and, as you can see, the ‘sheep’ are spreading far and wide!
