PARISH GIVING – THE MINISTRY SHARE

It’s no secret that because of the closure of churches for services during the pandemic many parish churches, including those in our benefice, are struggling financially. In particular, churches are finding it difficult to pay their ministry share (also known as ‘parish share’) to the Diocese. There are some common misconceptions about what the ministry share is and what the Diocese uses it for. This new video from the Diocese of Ely explains it very simply.
